What This Section Does

Create and manage tags that help users discover markets. Tags add keywords to markets (like "NFL", "Elections", "Crypto") to make searching easier.

Who Should Use This

Make sure you have this permission:

  1. market_tags: Required to manage tags

Good tags help users find markets. Use specific keywords like "NBA" instead of generic ones like "Sports".

1. Tag Viewing Function

Tag Viewing Sequence

Using Search in Tags Management

2. Tag Creation Function

Tag Creation Sequence

2Open Tag Creation DialogA popup window titled Add a New Tag appears.
3Enter Tag NameType the tag name in the Name field (required).
4Set Featured StatusCheck the Is Featured checkbox if you want this tag to appear as featured (optional).
5Create TagClick the Create button to save the new tag.
6Cancel CreationClick the Close button to exit without creating a tag.

Tag Creation Fields

NameThe name of the tag (required). This will be displayed to users when browsing markets.
Is FeaturedOptional checkbox. When checked, the tag is marked as featured and may receive special visibility on the platform.

Tag Creation Outcome

OutcomeCondition
SuccessTag is created and appears in the Tags List table. A success notification is displayed.
FailureIf the Name field is empty, the tag cannot be created.

3. Tag Editing Function

1Access Tag ActionsLocate the tag you want to edit in the Tags List table.
2Open Actions Menu Click the button in the Actions column for the selected tag.
3Select Edit OptionFrom the dropdown menu, click Edit.
4Open Edit DialogA popup window titled Edit Tag appears with current tag information.
5Modify Tag NameUpdate the tag name in the Name field if needed.
6Update Featured StatusCheck or uncheck the Is Featured checkbox to change the featured status.
7Save ChangesClick the Update button to save your modifications.

Tag Edit Fields

NameThe current name of the tag. You can modify this to rename the tag.
Is FeaturedCurrent featured status. Check or uncheck to change whether the tag is featured.

Tag Edit Outcome

SuccessTag information is updated and changes are reflected in the Tags List table immediately.
CancelNo changes are saved if you click Close without clicking Update.

4. Tag Deletion Function

Tag Deletion Sequence

1Access Tag ActionsLocate the tag you want to delete in the Tags List table.
2Open Actions MenuClick the Edit item button (three dots icon) in the Actions column for the selected tag.
3Select Delete OptionFrom the dropdown menu, click Delete.
4Review Deletion WarningA confirmation dialog titled Delete Topics appears with the message: "Are you sure you want to delete this tag? This action cannot be undone."
5Confirm DeletionClick the Delete button to permanently remove the tag.
6Cancel DeletionClick the Cancel or Close button to exit without deleting the tag.

Tag Deletion Outcome

OutcomeCondition
SuccessTag is permanently removed from the system. A success notification displays: "Tag deleted. The tag has been deleted successfully." The total tag count decreases by one.
CancelNo changes occur if you click Cancel or Close.

Important Notes About Tag Deletion

Irreversible ActionOnce a tag is deleted, it cannot be recovered. Ensure you want to permanently remove the tag before confirming.
Market ImpactDeleting a tag may affect markets that are currently using this tag. Verify tag usage before deletion.

5. Table Column Visibility

7. Tag Data Overview

Tag List Table Columns

Tag Data Details

8. Select All Tags Functionality

1. Tag Viewing Function

2In the Tags List table, view tag data including Name, Is Featured status, and Created At timestamp.

2. Tag Creation Function

4. Tag Deletion Function

2Click the Edit item button (three dots icon) in the Actions column.
3From the dropdown menu, select Delete.
4Review the warning message: "Are you sure you want to delete this tag? This action cannot be undone."
5Click the Delete button to confirm permanent deletion, or click Cancel/Close to abort.
6Upon successful deletion, the tag is removed from the list, the total count decreases, and a success notification appears.

5. Search & Filter Function
